If you run a business that either offers products for sale, or provides a service, then you might already know the important of having the right sorts of bags. If you’re thinking of offering new products or services, or want to know if you’d be better off with different bags, then here’s what you need to consider.

1. If your business is construction, or a builders merchants or a DIY store, then you’ll know that builders bags are essential for transporting stones, sand and other materials used in construction either on a building site, or around the home. These big strong bags allow more, and heavier items, to be transported easily.

2. If you’re a gardener, or deal in garden waste, then you’ll know that being able to transport garden waste such as turf, bricks or paving stones is important.

3. As many shops are trying to phase out plastic bags, or charge for them, shops and shoppers are looking for more environmentally friendly alternatives. Perhaps you’ll want to suggest that your customers buy long lasting bags for life from you.

4. Depending on what you sell, you might use bags to send out your products. Would you be better off using a different sort of packaging, or maybe using smaller, or paper bags?

5. If you’re in the chemical business, then you’ll probably need to send out chemicals to your customers. It’s important that you use suitable bags that are strong enough to hold chemicals safely and securely.

6. Perhaps your business manufacturers or sells animal feeds. You’ll want to make sure that you use the right sort of paper sacks, so that your products don’t leak out, and that they can survive being transported and then stored in a warehouse.

7. If you make or sell food products, then you’ll want to make sure that the food bags you use are food grade, and fit for purpose. You won’t want your products to go off, or to end up unusable when they reach their destination.

8. As well as plastic bags there are other sorts of bags used in retail. Why not think about using paper bags, or hessian bags, or other durable bags, or finding other ways for your customers to carry their purchases?

9. It might be that you need to use sandbags as part of your business. Perhaps you’ve involved in the emergency services, a council or work with rivers that are likely to flood. You’ll need to be able to rely on your sandbags as they’ll often be used in dangerous situations, and where lives are at risk.

10. If you sell logs, or small trees, perhaps at a farm, garden centre, or DIY store, or even shellfish or vegetables, then you might use net bags already. These bags are ideal for carrying pieces of wood or vegetables, are essential if your products need to breathe, or can’t be fully enclosed. michael kors bags sales
